Today starts the Match for the FIDE World chess championship match. I will not be in New York these days but I will try to follow the event as much as possible.
I support Sergey even if he is the outsider as I usually do . Until now he had proven to be the most difficult to win. He won World Cup against Svidler, after the Candidates match and he is young enough to become better player.
I have met Karjakin Sergey several times but we talked a little bit in Moscow after the candidates tournament. His manager Zangalis Kyrillos is Greek born in USSR, in his last interviews he announced that more than 1 million euro are spent for the preparation of the match. That is big amount of money even for the word chess champion.
Let’s see if finally preparation can give its fruits and Sergey win the match
